  • Raisins – 10 No’s
  • A pinch of saffron

Preparation Method

Step 1 (Rajbhog)

Chhena Preparation:

Milk is first heated, and then a coagulating agent like lemon juice or vinegar is added to curdle the milk. The resulting curds are collected and drained in a cloth to remove excess whey, leaving behind chhena.

Kneading:

The chhena is then kneaded well until it becomes smooth and pliable. This step is crucial to achieving the right texture of Rajbhog.

Filling:

The kneaded chhena is divided into small balls, and each ball is then flattened and stuffed with a mixture of chopped nuts like cashews, almonds, pistachios, as well as raisins, and a pinch of saffron for flavor.
