How to make Shahi Paneer?

 

Hello Friends welcome to SAS FOOD BLOGS, Today we are going to see how to make Shahi Paneer.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Paneer – 200 grams
  • Cashew Nuts – 15 No’s (Finely Chopped)
  • Almonds – 10 No’s (Skin peeled – Finely Chopped)
  • Onion – 2 No’s (Medium Size – Finely Chopped)
  • Ginger – ½ Teaspoon (Finely Chopped)
  • Garlic – ½ Teaspoon (Finely Chopped)
  • Curd – 1/2 Cup
  • Ghee – 3 Tablespoon
  • Bay Leaf – 1 No
  • Cloves – 3 No’s
  • Cardamoms – 3 No’s
  • Cinnamon – 1 Inch
  • Shah Jeera – ½ Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Water – As per your need
  • Sugar – 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt – As per your taste
  • Cardamom Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Saffron – 1 Pinch (Crushed)
  • Cream – 2 Tablespoon
  • Butter – 1 Tablespoon

Preparation Method:

Today’s recipe is a Shahi Paneer, so let’s get started.

Step 1 (Shahi Paneer)

  • Take 200 grams of Paneer and cut into square cubes and keep it a side.
  • Take a pan and add 2 tablespoon of water and heat it and add Finely Chopped Cashew Nuts and then add Finely Chopped Almonds and add Finely Chopped Onion.
  • And then add Finely Chopped Ginger and add Finely Chopped Garlic and boil it until onion become soft and strain the stock and keep it a side.
  • After it cool down take a blender and add the prepared stock and grind it to a fine paste by adding required water and keep it a side.

Step 2 (Shahi Paneer)

  • Then take ½ Cup of Curd and bend it till it become smooth and keep it a side.
  • Take a pan and 3 Tablespoon of Ghee and heat it in low flame and add 1 No of Bay Leaf and then 3 No’s of Cloves and add 3 No’s of Cardamoms and then add 1 Inch of Cinnamon and add ½ Teaspoon of Shah Jeera and fry it for few minutes.
  • Then add the prepared onion nuts paste in the pan and saute it for 5 minutes and add ¼ Teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder and then add ¼ Teaspoon of Garam Masala and add 1 Teaspoon of Coriander Powder and mix it well.

Step 3 (Shahi Paneer)

  • And then add prepared smooth curd and Water as per your need and then add 2 Teaspoon of Sugar and check for seasoning by adding Salt as per your taste and stir it well for about 10 minutes by keeping the flame on low.
  • Then add ¼ Teaspoon of Cardamom Powder and add Crushed Saffron and then add the 200 gram of paneer cubes and saute for few minutes.
  • Accordingly add 2 Tablespoon of Cream and then add 1 Tablespoon of Butter and mix it well and turn off the stove and move it to a serving bowl and garnish with few saffron strands.

Shahi Paneer is ready to serve as side dish for Naan or Roti or Pulka, so you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
