How to make Sweet Corn Sundal?

 

Hello Friends welcome to SAS FOOD BLOGS, Today we are going to see how to make Sweet Corn Sundal.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Steamed Sweet Corn Kernels – 1 Cup
  • Water – As per your need
  • Oil – 1 Tablespoon
  • Mustard Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
  • Urad Dal – 1 Teaspoon
  • Curry Leaves – Few
  • Green Chilli – 1 No (Finely Chopped)
  • Asafoetida – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli – 1 No
  • Salt – As per your taste
  • Mango – 2 Teaspoon (Finely Chopped)
  • Coriander Leaves – Few (Finely Chopped)
  • Grated Coconut – 2 Table Spoon

Preparation Method

Today’s recipe is a Sweet Corn Sundal, so let’s get started.

Step 1 (Sweet Corn Sundal)

  1. Take 1 medium size corn and boil it in a pressure cooker and add enough water and boil it for about 5 whistles in medium flame.
  2. After it cool down take the sweet corn from the corn kernels.
  3. Then heat a pan and add 1 Tablespoon of oil and then add 1 Teaspoon of Mustard Seeds and add 1 Teaspoon of Urad Dal.

Step 2 (Sweet Corn Sundal)

  • And then add few Curry Leaves and add Finely Chopped Green Chilli and then add ¼ Teaspoon of Asafoetida and add 1 No of Red Chilli and mix it well.
  • Then add the 1 cup of Steamed Sweet Corn Kernels and saute for about 2 minutes by keeping the flame on low.
  • And then check for seasoning by adding Salt as per your taste and mix it well for few minutes and turn off the flame.
  • After it cool down then transfer it to a bowl and garnish with grated coconut and garnish with finely chopped mango and then garnish with few finely chopped coriander leaves.
