How to make Apple Halwa?

 

Hello Friends welcome to SAS FOOD BLOGS, Today we are going to see how to make Apple Halwa.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Apple – 4 No’s
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon
  • Cashew Nuts – 10 No’s
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Saffron Food Colour – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon Powder – ¼ Teaspoon

Preparation Method:

Today’s recipe is an Apple Halwa, so let’s get started.

Step 1 (Apple Halwa)

  • Take 4 medium size apples and cut into 4 piece each and remove the seeds from the apple and then grate the apple nicely and keep it a side.
  • Then take a kadai and add 2 tablespoon of ghee and then add 10 no’s of cashew nuts and roast it until it reaches golden brown colour and keep it a side.
  • Then in the same kadai add the grated apple and stir it well for about 10 minutes by keeping the flame on low.

Step 2 

  • And then add ½ cup of sugar and add ¼ teaspoon of saffron food colour and mix it well until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Continue cooking until the Halwa becomes thick then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and add ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  • Then add the roasted cashew nuts and mix it well by keeping the flame on low for few minutes and turn off the stove.
