How to make Sabudana Vada?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sabudana – 1 cup
  • Green Chilli Paste – 1 Teaspoon
  • Handful of Curry Leaves
  • Handful of coriander leaves (Chopped)
  • Lemon Juice – ½ No
  • Sugar – 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt as per you taste
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
  • Peanut Powder – ½ cup
  • Potatoes – 2 No’s (medium size boiled)
  • Oil for Frying

Preparation Method 

Today’s recipe is a simple and crispy recipe that is Sabudana Vada, so let’s get started.

Step 1 (Sabudana Vada)

Take a large bowl add 1 cup of Sabudana add water to wash it cleanly then soak it for about 3 hours and after 3 hours add 1 teaspoon of green chilli paste and add handful of curry leaves then add handful of chopped coriander leaves.

Then squeeze ½ a lemon in it and add 2 teaspoon of sugar then add salt as per your taste and mix it well and mash the Sabudana and add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and add ½ cup of peanuts powder.

Step 2 (Sabudana Vada)

Then add 2 medium size potatoes (boiled) and mashed it and mix it well. Then take a small portion of the mixture and make it flat round shape.

Take a kadai pour enough oil for deep frying; once the oil is hot gently drop in the prepared flat round shape mixture cook it in low flame. After the Vada turns golden brown turn off the stove and take them out.

The Sabudana Vada is ready to serve with green chutney or ketchup or sweet curd by the side. So you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
