How to make Mawa Modak?

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ghee / Butter – 2 Tea Spoon
  2. Milk – ½ Cup
  3. Saffron milk – 3 Tablespoon
  4. Milk powder – 1½ cup 
  5. Powdered sugar – ½ cup 
  6. Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon
  7. oil (for greasing the mould)
  8. Cashew – 2 Tablespoon (chopped)
  9. Almond – 2 Tablespoon (chopped)

Preparation Method:

Step 1 (Mawa Modak)

Today’s recipe is a simple and easy Modak recipe that is Mawa Modak, so let’s get started.

Take a kadai heat it and add 1 teaspoon of ghee Add 2 tablespoon of cashew (Chopped) and add 2 tablespoon of almond (chopped) and fry it nicely. Then take the fried mixture Dry fruits and keep it a side.

Step 2 

To the same kadai add 1 Teaspoon of Ghee and add ½ cup of milk then add 3 tablespoon of saffron milk and mix it well and add 1½ cup of milk powder and mix it well for few minutes until it get thicker paste.

After it become thick paste transfer to a bowl and add ½ cup of powdered sugar and add ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder and mix it well form a non-sticky dough by combining well.

Step 3 

And grease the modak mould with ghee to prevent from sticking, then stuff the mawa mixture into the mould and also, place a teaspoon of dry fruit mixture in the centre Close tightly and scrape off excess mixture and unmould the modak gently without breaking it. Mawa Modak is ready to be served. So you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
