How to make Matar Paneer?

INGREDIENTS:

Oil – 2 Tbsp.

Garlic – 6 Cloves

Ginger

Onion – 3 No’s Chopped

Tomato – 4 No’s Chopped

Ghee – 2 Tsp.

Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 Tsp.

Cumin Powder – 1 Tsp.

Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp.

Peas – 1/2 Cup Cooked

Paneer – 200 Gram

Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 Tsp.

Kasuri Methi

Coriander Leaves

Preparation Method

Step 1 (Matar Paneer)

Today’s recipe is very delicious Paneer gravy that is Matar Paneer and so let’s gets started.

Matar Paneer recipes are something that we all commonly enjoy and it is one of the most popular recipes.

First I am going to saute a few ingredients for this take a kadai and add 1 tablespoon of oil and add 6 cloves of garlic and add a piece of ginger and add 3 medium sized onions roughly chopped.

Step 2 (Matar Paneer)

So you can see once the onions are transparent and next add 4 medium sized Tomatoes roughly chopped, cook the tomatoes till they are nice and mushy.

To this add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, so you can see the tomatoes have become nice and mushy turn off the stove. And cool the mixture completely, after the mixture is cooled down transfer to a mixer jar and a little water if required and grind it to a nice fine paste.

Step 3 (Matar Paneer)

To the same kadai add one tablespoon of oil and add 2 teaspoons of ghee and add the ground tomato and onion paste. And add two teaspoons of Kashmiri red chilli powder then add 1 teaspoon cumin powder and add 1 teaspoon coriander powder.

And add 1/2 teaspoon of salt mix everything together, cook the gravy for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add half cup of cooked peas and add 200 grams of paneer cut into cubes. And add 1/2 cup of water and cook for about ten minutes on medium flame.

Step 4 (Matar Paneer)

After ten minutes open the kadai and add 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder and add some crushed kasuri methi and add some chopped coriander leaves and mix everything and turn off the stove. The mutter paneer is ready to be served with some naan or roti or chapatti by the side. So you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
