How to make Sweet Corn Chicken Soup?

INGREDIENTS:

For the Chicken stock

Chicken (with bone) – 1/4 kg

Carrot – 1 no

Onion – 1 cup

Garlic Few Cloves- Pounded

Few chopped celery

Rock salt

Pepper

For the Creamy Corn

Corn – 2 no’s

Butter – 1 Tbsp.

Salt

Pepper

Water – 2 cups

Corn flour to dilute – 1 tsp.

For the Soup

Oil – 2 tsp.

Spring onion whites and stalk

Few Ginger Juliens

Salt

Pepper

Egg – 1 no. (Whisked)

Corn flour to dilute – 1 tsp.

Preparation Method

Step 1 (Sweet Corn Chicken Soup)

Today’s recipe is a delicious and wonderful Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, and so let’s gets started.

There are three steps to making the Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, first step is to make the chicken stock so let’s see how that is done.

Add the chicken pieces into the pot, I have about quarter kg of chicken with the bone, add carrots, add the onion, add pound garlic lightly, add some chopped celery, add rock salt a little and add some pepper.

Step 2 

And add enough water; you can see this is going to be your stock. And let it cook for about 25 minutes you can see the chicken is cooked beautifully. All the flavors from the chicken and the vegetables are infused and the stock looks beautiful and delicious.

We going to strain this completely and just get the stock. And I am going to remove the chicken pieces and shred the chicken for the soup.

Step 3 (Sweet Corn Chicken Soup)

The second step is to make the creamy corn for the soup; first we need to pressure cook the corn and we need to separate the kernels. In a small mixer jar take a little bit of the corn and grind it to a paste.

Now we are going to make the creamy corn for the soup, so for that take a little butter in a saucepan add the remaining corn kernels and add a little salt and add a little pepper and next add water and add corn paste into the saucepan.

Step 4 

So this is going to give you a nice thick creamy base for your soup, so let it simmer for about five to ten minutes. Take one whole teaspoon of corn flour and add a little water and dilute it.

Now I am just going to add a diluted corn flour just to thicken it a little bit, so the creamy corn for the soup is ready. Now you can see it is thinking beautifully turn off the stove and keep it aside.

Step 5 (Sweet Corn Chicken Soup)

The final step is to combine all the ingredients and make the Sweet Corn Chicken Soup. Take a saucepan add two teaspoons of oil and add the spring onions and take a small piece of ginger cut into Juliens and next add the shredded chicken saute it for a minute.

Then add the creamy corn, once you have mixed everything in add the chicken stock. Now I am going to add the stalk of the spring onions, I am going to season it with a little salt and pepper.

Step 6 (Sweet Corn Chicken Soup)

Finally close the saucepan and let it simmer for about ten minutes, just whisk the egg and gently start incorporating into the soup for it just mix it. The egg in your soup which is going to thicken it by adding a little corn flour diluted in water, let it simmer for a few minutes to let it thicker.

Now turn off the stove your delicious soup is ready to be served now. So you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
