  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil

For Tempering (Optional):

  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon urad dal (split black gram)
  • 1-2 dry red chillies
  • A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  • Curry leaves
