INGREDIENTS:

For Boiling Eggs:

  • 4 eggs
  • Water

For Tawa Pulao:

  • 2 cups cooked basmati rice (leftover rice works well)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • Green chilli – 1 No (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Mixed vegetables – 1/2 cup (Peas, Carrot & Pepper)
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Step 1 (Egg Tawa Pulao)

Boil the Eggs:

  • Take a pan and add water and then add 4 eggs.
  • Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 9-10 minutes.
    Remove the eggs from the hot water, let them cool, peel, and cut them into halves. Set aside.

Step 2 (Egg Tawa Pulao)

Prepare the Tawa Pulao:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet or tawa (flat griddle) over medium heat.
    Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add the chopped onions and green chilli.
