How to make Shahi Mutton Biryani?

Hello Friends welcome to SAS Food Blogs, Today we are going to see how to make Shahi Mutton Biryani.

INGREDIENTS:

Marinate:

  • Mutton – 1/2 Kg (cut into small pieces)
  • Onion – 1 Cup (Grated)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric – 1 Teaspoon
  • black cumin seeds – 1 Teaspoon
  • Curd – 1 Cup
  • Garam Masala – 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt – As per your taste

Mixture:

  • Onion – 1 Cup (Sliced)
  • Ghee – 1 Tablespoon
  • Cumin Seeds – 1Teaspoon
  • Bay Leaf – 1 No

Rice:

  • Basmati rice – 2 Cups (Soaked in water)
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon
  • Green cardamoms – 2 No’s
  • Cloves – 2 No’s
  • Black cumin seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – 1 Piece
  • Salt – As per your taste
  • Water – As per your need
  • Coriander leaves – 2 Tablespoon (Finely Chopped)
  • Saffron – ½ Teaspoon (soaked in ¼ cup of warm milk)

Preparation Method

Today’s recipe is delicious and taste recipe that is Shahi Mutton Biryani and so let’s gets started.

Step 1 (Shahi Mutton Biryani)

  • Take a bowl and add 1/2 Kg of Mutton (cut into small pieces) and then add 1 Cup of grated Onion and add 1 Teaspoon of Ginger Garlic Paste.
  • Add then1 Teaspoon of Turmeric and add 1 Teaspoon of black cumin seeds and then add 1 Cup Curd and add 1 Teaspoon of Garam Masala.
  • Then add Salt as per your taste and mix it well and marinate it for about 2 hours.
  • Take a pan and add 1 Tablespoon of Ghee and heat it and then add 1 Cup of Sliced Onion and fry it until it reach crispy and golden brown colour.
  • Then transfer the fried onion to a kitchen towel or tissue paper to strain the onion from the ghee and keep it a side.
  • To the same pan add 1Teaspoon of Cumin Seeds and then add 1 No of Bay Leaf and add the marinate mutton mixture and mix it well.
  • Continue cooking for few minutes by keeping the flame on low and then add water as per your need and cook until the meat cooked completely then turn of the stove.
  • Then add the fried onion and add the finely chopped coriander leaves and mix it well.  

Step 2 (Shahi Mutton Biryani)

  • While the meat is cooking, drain the soaked basmati rice and keep it aside.
  • Take a pan and add 2 Tablespoon of Ghee.
  • And then add 2 No’s of Green cardamoms and add 2 No’s of Cloves and then add ½ Teaspoon of Black cumin seeds and add 1 Piece of Cinnamon and mix it well.
  • Then add the drained basmati rice and add Salt as per your taste and then add Water as per your need and boil it by keeping the flame on low.
  • Continue cooking for about 10 minutes by covering the Pan and once the rice as been cooked turn of the stove.
  • Twenty minutes before serving divide the meat and rice into 2 equal half’s each item.
  • Take a Pan and add the first half portion of meat and then add the first half portion of rice and sprinkle half the saffron flavoured milk over rice.
  • Then add the second half portion of meat and then add the second half portion of rice and sprinkle the remaining saffron flavoured milk over the rice.
  • Close the pan and continue cooking for about 20 minutes by keeping the flame on low, then turn of the stove, then mix it gently and transfer it to a serving plate.    
  • Shahi Mutton Biryani is ready to serve by keeping onion raita by the side, so you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
