How to make Raj Kachori?

Hello Friends welcome to SAS BLOGGER, Today we are going to see how to make Raj Kachori.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rava – 1 cup
  • Maida – 1/2 cup
  • Baking Soda -1/4 tsp
  • Salt – As per your need
  • Oil – 2 Tbsp
  • Water – 1/2 cup
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fennel Powder – 1/4 teaspoon (saunf Powder)
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 teaspoon

For Chat Stuffing

  • Boiled chana – 1 cup
  • Potatoes cubes – 1cup (boiled & Peeled)
  • Sev – ½ cup
  • Chaat masala powder – ¼ Teaspoon (for sprinkle)
  • Green chutney – 1/4 cup
  • Tamarind sweet chutney  – 1/4 cup
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Black salt -1/4 teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin powder -1/4 teaspoon (for sprinkle)
  • Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Onions – 2 tbsp (Finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped finely)
  • Boondi – ½ cup
  • Pomegranate – ½ cup
  • Papadi – ¼ Cup

Preparation Method

Today’s recipe is delicious and taste recipe that is Raj Kachori and so let’s gets started.

Step 1 (Raj Kachori)

  • Take a bowl and add 1 cup of rava and then add ½ cup of Maida and mix it well.
  • Then add salt as per your need and add ¼ teaspoon of red chilli powder and then add ¼ teaspoon of Fennel powder and add ¼ teaspoon of Black pepper Powder and then add Baking soda.
  • Then add 2 teaspoon of oil and mix everything very well and add water as per your need to make a dough and Cover the dough and rest for about 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, knead dough again and make medium size balls from dough. Cover the dough with wet cloth, so that they do not become dry.
  • Take the dough & gently roll it round.

Step 2 (Raj Kachori)

  • Do not make kachoris too thin nor thick. You can roll kachoris & keep covered with wet towel.
  • Take a kadai and add oil and heat it and add the kachori in a kadai and fry it by keeping the flame on medium. Fry until it turns crispy & golden brown colour on both the sides.
  • Then take the kachori’s (crispy fried) from the kadai and move it on to tissue or kitchen towels for removing the extra oil.

Step 3 (Raj Kachori)

  • Take one kachori and keep it in a serving bowl & make a hole in the center of the kachori and add 1 cup of boiled chana and then add 1 cup of boiled potatoes cubes.
  • Then add ½ cup of curd and add ¼ cup of green chutney and then add ¼ cup of  sweet tamarind chutney and add ¼ teaspoon of black salt and then add ¼ teaspoon of  roasted cumin powder and add ½ teaspoon of red chilli powder.
  • And add 2 tablespoon of finely chopped onion and crush some papdi to top of raj kachori add then add ½ cup of  boondi and add ½ cup of  Pomegranate and then garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve the raj kachori in serving plate immediately once prepared..
