How to make Bottle Gourd Halwa?

 

Hello Friends welcome to SAS FOOD BLOGS, Today we are going to see how to make Bottle Gourd Halwa.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Bottle Gourd – 500 grams (grated)
  • Boiled Milk – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – 1 Cup
  • Ghee – 5 Tablespoon
  • Cardamom Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Cashew Nuts – 1 Cup
  • Raisins – 1 Cup

Preparation Method

Today’s recipe is a Bottle Gourd Halwa, so let’s get started.

Step 1 (Bottle Gourd Halwa)

  1. Take 500 gram of bottle gourd and wash it well 2 or 3 times and peel the skin and grate it and strain out the excess water from it.
  2. Take a kadai and add 1 tablespoon of ghee and then add grated bottle gourd.
  3. And add 1 cup of boiled milk and then add 1 cup of sugar and mix it well for few minutes by keeping the flame on low.

Step 2 (Bottle Gourd Halwa)

  1. Then take a pan and add 1 tablespoon of ghee and add 1 cup of cashew nuts and add 1 cup of raisins.
  2. And then add ½ teaspoon of Cardamom Powder and mix it well for few minutes and off the stove.
  3. Then move the fried dry fruits to the bottle gourd kadai and mix it well for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. And add 3 tablespoon of ghee and mix it well for few minutes by keeping the flame on the low.   
  5. And after few minutes close the stove.
