INGREDIENTS:

To Make Corn Cream

  1. Butter – 1 tbsp
  2. Salt – As per your need
  3. Pepper – As per your need
  4. Corn Flour – 1 tsp

To Make Soup

  1. Oil – 2 tsp
  2. Garlic – 2 cloves (finely chopped)
  3. Spring Onions – 1 stalk (finely chopped)
  4. Carrot – 1no (finely chopped)
  5. Few Beans (chopped)
  6. Cabbage – ½ cup
  7. Celery – 1stalk (chopped)
  8. Salt – As per your need
  9. Pepper – As per your need
  10. Corn Flour – 1 tsp

Preparation Method

Step 1 (Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup)

Today we are going make sweet corn vegetable soup, let’s get up the main ingredient for the soup is this creamy sweet corn. So I am going to show you how to make that from scratch.

Now if you have frozen corn or if you have the corn kernels itself then you can just cook things and then I will show you how to make the next step but if you have the corn the whole corn just pressure cook it for about three or four whistles.

Cool it and remove the kernels, keep half aside for grinding and in a small mixer jar, take a little bit of the corn and grind it to make as a paste.

Step 2 

Now we are going to make the creamy corn for the soup. Take a little butter in a pan add the remaining corn add a little salt and a little pepper, next add water and Corn paste into the pan.

So this is going to give you a nice thick creamy corn let it simmer about five to ten minutes.

Take one whole teaspoon of corn flour add a little water and dilute it now. I am just going to add a diluted corn flour to thicken it a little bit, so the creamy corn for the soup is ready. You can see it is thickened beautifully turn off the stove and keep it aside.

Step 3 (Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup)

Take a nice a white pan add two teaspoons of oil, add 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic and chopped spring onions after a minute add finely chopped one carrot and add a few beans and ½ cup cabbage and just mix everything.  

Just add 1 stalk of celery that is been chopped and add a little salt and pepper add enough water and let the vegetables cook.

So now the vegetables are cooked and you have the sock as well just add two ladles of the creamy corn that you have prepared mix it into soup until you get the required thickness.

Now at this point you can check for your seasoning and just going to add a little bit of the spring onions stalks and just going to add the some corn flour that’s been diluted with water and now this will instantly thicken the soup.

Then move the soup into the Soup Bowl and add Garnish with some chopped spring onion stalks. Now you can enjoy having your sweet corn vegetable soup at your home.
