INGREDIENTS:

For Custard:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons custard powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Fruit Mix:

  • Assorted fruits (such as bananas, apples, grapes, pomegranate seeds, mangoes, etc.), diced or chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)

Preparation Method:

Step 1 (Fruit Custard)

Prepare the Custard:

  • In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with a few tablespoons of milk to form a smooth paste.
  • Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a simmer. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Gradually pour the custard paste into the simmering milk while stirring continuously.
    Keep stirring the mixture over medium heat until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  • Then turn off the stove and add the vanilla extract and mix it well and keep it a side to allow it to cool down.
