How to make Kashmiri Pulao?

Hello Friends welcome to SAS BLOGGER, Today we are going to see how to make Kashmiri Pulao.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ghee – 3 Tablespoon
  • Basmati Rice – 1 Cup
  • Onion – 1 No (Medium Size – Sliced Thinly)
  • Saffron – 2 Pinch (Crushed)
  • Cashew Nuts – 10 No’s
  • Water – 1 ½ Cup (For Pressure Cooking)
  • Bay Leaf – 1 No
  • Cardamoms – 3 No’s
  • Cloves -3 No’s
  • Ginger Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt – As per your taste
  • Cinnamon – 1 Inch
  • Shahi Jeera – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cashew Nuts – 10 No’s (Chopped Finely)
  • Almonds – 10 No’s (Chopped Finely)

Preparation Method – Type 1

Today’s recipe is delicious and taste recipe that is Kashmiri Pulao and so let’s gets started.

Step 1 (Kashmiri Pulao)

  • Take 1 Cup of Basmati Rice and wash it and soak the rice water for 30 Minutes and after 30 minutes drain the water and keep it a side.
  • Take a Pressure Cooker and add 2 Tablespoon of Ghee and heat it then add Thinly Sliced Onion and add 1 No of Bay Leaf and then add 3 No’s of Cardamoms.
  • And add 3 No’s of Cloves and then add ½ Teaspoon of Ginger Powder and add 1 Inch of Cinnamon and then add 1 Teaspoon Shahi Jeera and fry it for few seconds by keeping the flame on low.
  • Then add the 10 No’s of Cashew Nuts and roast it until it reach golden brown colour  and then add 2 Pinch of crushed Saffron and mix it and saute it.

Step 2 (Kashmiri Pulao)

  • And then add the soaked basmati rice and mix it gently and saute it for few minutes and add 1 ½ Cup of Water and then add Salt As per your taste and pressure cook it for 1 whistle by keeping the flame on medium.
  • After 1 whistle off the stove and keep the pressure cooker by the side for cooling down, after it cool down move it to a serving plate.
  • Take a pan and add 1 Tablespoon of Ghee and heat it and add finely chopped Cashew Nuts add then finely chopped Almonds and fry it until it reaches golden brown colour and crispy by keeping the flame on low.
  • Then turn off the stove and garnish the nuts on the serving plate.

Kashmiri Pulao is ready to serve by keeping paneer butter masala and onion raita by the side, so you can try this recipe in your home and enjoy it and share the recipe with your family and friends.
