INGREDIENTS:

  • 5cups roughly chop tomatoes
  • ¼ cup yellowish moong dal ( split yellowish gram), washed and drained
  • 1 tsp low fat butter
  • ½ cup finely chop onions
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ½ cup low fat milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp fresh base black pepper

Preparation Method

Today’s recipe is very favorite Soup that is Tomato Soup and so let’s gets starte

  • Combine 4 cups of water along with tomatoes and moong dal in a deepnon-stick kadhai and cook on a medium burn for 8to10 minutes or till the tomatoes are soft, while stirring sometimes
  • keep away to cool after removing from the burn.
  • Mix in a mixer to a smooth admixture and keep away.
  • Toast the butter in a deepnon-stick kadhai, add the onions and sauté on a medium burn till they turn light brown in color.
  • Add the tomatoes admixture, sugar, low- fat milk, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Bring to a heat, while stirring sometimes and bubble for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with heated whole wheat chuck croutons.

Handy Tip

To make heated whole wheat bread croutons, toast the whole wheat bread and also cut into 10 mm X 10 mm cells.
